Quality Assurance (QA) of IC3 fleet in Israel

KP Consulting team consisting of an IC3 engineer, team leader and QA-technicians
Establishment of Quality Assurance (QA) on fleet of 45 IC3 trainsets (classification of failures in security classes, measurement and registration procedure during inspection and reporting)
Training of Technical Staff (OJT) in quality control
For most of the time, the team covers all trains in the fleet (3 daily shifts) after completion of maintenance before the train sets were released for operation.
The result was an improvement in train maintenance (availability, MTBF, etc.) by more than 50%.
